By 1880, the company had become the largest and most diverse manufacturer of marine supplies in the country. It remains in business today. This wheel is from a commercial steamship that transported people and cargo between port cities. It was made circa 1880. Made into a coffee table

He was primarily collected by yachting groups in NY and MA. The canvas measures 36 inches wide by 30 inches. The gold leaf frame measures 40 and one half inches by 34 and one half inches.
